What up guys, I had a play around with the colours and added more orange and blue like you said. But the orange background I just could not do it. Just could not bring myself to do it. I can't get the colours of the background image and the header and footer images to blend correctly in IE. And being a web design I can't have the colours incorrect. It doesn't look nice or professional. So for that reason my pride prevented me from doing it. So you will have to deal with or I will set these four guys on you. Let us know what you think - Aussie

ReplyDeleteIt looks much better, I just don't get what the fuss is about with the orange background. I have IE and I can't tell the difference, seriously, don't even know what the problem is. Just gonna throw out an idea here so don't freak out or anything, lol. What if you try and put some kind of orange in the background. I'm not talking make all of it orange like before but leave it white and see if you could put like orange lettering out to the left side. Its just this white blob to my left and its driving me crazy... could make it say 'BRONCOS' and just put it sideways. It just needs a little something more in the background.
But really it looks much better. I love the blue comment page with orange lettering.
And also, just noticed the nfl.com and DB.com icons are now yellow????

I like the blue. Keep it. Looks more like the main page of the DB site. I'm good with the white background or might try the gray background that is on the main page of the DB site. Or you can go for orange. I say just keep it Bronco colors and maybe even looking like the DB website.

Ok, to Dave I know it is Doc blog but this is what I do and I am a perfection so I can't bring myself to do it. I take pride in my work and doing the orange doesn't look good with the images.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about what Ashley suggested, adding more orange to the background image which I was going to work on in the next few days.
I made the icons yellow because I thought that is cool, but can easily change them.
Also the blogging thing, this isn't Doc's fault, but when he put the second template on top of the first one it removed a whole heap of code for the comments. So I have to try and put that back to fix the problem. But who knows what that will cause. It may take me some time to fix that problem.

I don't know why anyone would take John (it's all over, fat boy) Madden serious? He is an ex Raiders coach and hates Denver. His opinion is worthless. I refuse to listen to Maddens dribble. Good announcer but biased towards the Broncos.
ReplyDeleteJohn Madden doesn't do the ratings, it is done by the Madden game design team. But john madden is still bias towards Broncos. That link was to the game site where they have rated the broncos players. For exmaple Moss is high than Doom, Orton gets a 74 rating, Boss Bailey and JJ Arington are on the team and Wes Woodyard, Kenny Mckinley and Ryan Torian are not.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I read that. Ridiculous. The people who rated the Broncos are morons. Moss over Doom? I think not. So, I got to meet LBWilson56 (Bryan) at my Broncos bar Saturday night. Big guy. He and his wife came with his friend (Victor) and his wife. We did karaoke, (yes, Bryan and Victor sing well)and drank. We had a great time. Victor is a Giants fan so I told him he has to come to the bar on Thanksgiving for the game. He said absolutely. We talked via email, so now I met a new friend (even if he is a Giants fan, ha, ha).

ReplyDeleteI won't do my article today. Tomorrow I'll do it. I'm wiped today. Mine will be about the players as a whole. Projections as to who will be the starters, and with those projections, who will they beat throughout the season. When camp starts, I will give updates and rumors about individuals on the team. How they rank on the depth chart. Match ups for preseason games, etc.. If you ever read USA Today about weekly match ups, that's what I will do, but using my own style and opinions. Betting on games in Vegas, I know what I look for. I'll try to share that with everyone, including match ups of other teams in the AFC West that are playing. Injury reports, player changes, point spreads. When I start up with Fan Huddle I will have to devote a lot of time there, but I will manage to get a couple of articles out a week, here. One after the game (Mondays), and another before the next one (Fridays).
Was on the DP today, arguing with the whining trolls. Big Red Celt jumped all over this guy for bashing me. Nice to have online friends, ha, ha.

As of now I just think its someone trying to get some money from him... till its proven otherwise, its usually money money and more money people try to get out of these things. A little hard to believe the woman about the rape with no real evidence. Sounds like she just wants money. Something that should not be taken lightly though. It will need to be looked into. But I have to think that if Ben wanted to get laid he would have no problem finding willing partners out there.

ReplyDeleteI believe you can take photos. My mom got to take a photo of the Super Bowl Ring when she was there. (Don't know where that photo is) But unless things have changed you should be able to take photos.

ReplyDeletehahaha... my Grandpa and his wife (again NOT my grandma) are up in Rochester to visit one of her daughters. Well my mom works for an airline (yes I get to fly for FREE, haha) and so she's got them on special parent passes. So I guess all the flights out of Newark to Denver are just booked solid so my mom set them up to fly from Rochester to Newark... Newark to KC and my mom can get them a pass on another airline that will take them straight back to Denver. So she decided to get me involved and when they arrive, I have to go chase them down, get them to the right gate and stuff so... I'm on a wild goose chase tomorrow. Or as I decided to call it a chase-my-Grandpa escapade, hahahahaha. So their flight gets in here at 11am and my mom wants me out there ready to chase 'em down by 10:30, which means since I hate mornings and getting up early I have to wake up at around 7am. I'll work out before I leave. Shoot might as well not to go to sleep at all!! lol

ReplyDeleteHaha Doc, funny story about that, I was having a madden tournament with friends, you know get all your mates around and see who is best. I made it to the final game and was playing with the cheifs, had to randomly chose, he had bills. He had just scored on me to go into the lead with about 5 seconds left on the clock. And I just said I would return the kickoff knowing I had no chance. He thought he would be a good sport and kick it to me deep. And guess who ran the kickoff back for a TD, just can't be beaten, I am good.

ReplyDeleteyou think thats rough, I had to play my friend on a wii which I had never done before so I didn't know all the controls. I let him be one of the all 90's teams and I was the Dolphins ( this is when they were the worst team ). the score was 43-35 in the 4th quarter with 1:13 seconds left I managed a drive which included 2 4th down conversions and got a score with :08 seconds left. the score was an 18 yard pass to Ronni Brown. I had to go for 2 and so I did a PA FB flat and I was able to quarterback sneak into the endzone. amazing. now its overtime. my opponent was able to get into field goal range ( at the 29 yard line ) but instead of kicking the field goal and winning it he throws the ball and I intercept it and return it for 6. it was an amazing game. ( I know all the stats because I have it on video. )
Madden is fun like that, I have been playing madden since 03 and have played well over a thousand games, five min quarters so it takes an hour for a game. But I love it. So much fun.

ReplyDeleteA game a day? That ain't much, I use to come home and play a game a day. But on weekends I would get up early and play 3 games, 7 to 10, and most weekends I got another 1 or 2 games out in the afternoon. It takes me less then a 2 weeks to do an entire season. I completed a full 30 year franchise on 04 playing ever game, completed it the day before I went out and bought 05.

I'm currently on year 14 of my franchise but I also do superstar sometimes. hell, whenever I get Madden I fake sick for a week so I wouldn't have to go to school just so I could sit at home and play Madden.

Yeah, there are better gang tackles and different tackle animation. They have implemented a new physics system to have more realistic tackles and motion.

I think it is WAY overrated and because of my high morals & values, college professors these days would get a riot out of me!! However, its like you HAVE to have a college edumacation in order to survive in this crazy world.

ReplyDeleteseriously, don't take offense when I say this but you're dad is a Dick. If my Dad ever treated me like that I would go live with my aunt and uncle. I don't put up with stuff like that. I understand the basic rules but if my dad told me what to do with my own money I would get really mad. Their is no way I am going to live with my parents when I'm in college. once I graduate HS I'm off to Chico State. I also have the same cell phone problem as you.

ReplyDeleteYou sure get a kick out of that don't ya? Oh and I forgot to mention the best part... they kept getting bumped off their flights so we got them later tonight and went and had dinner. So I picked them up and my mom and drove my mom back to her car before dinner, so we took both of our cars to dinner and then went home. Well after dinner... guess who got to ride in my car with me all alone for 30 PAINFUL minutes and listen to "yap yap yap yap yap yap yap yap yap yap..." I mean seriously!! Was ready to duct tape that woman's mouth shut!! She's like the Engergizer bunny... she never stops talking, EVER! I'm convinced she talks in her sleep.
