Hi all, had this sitting around on my computer for a while thought it would be good to throw up for some laughs. So enjoy this photos and everybody have a safe and good day.

And the last one I have, I haven't added a caption to it. I would love to hear your ideas, hit us up in the comments. ~ Aussie.

  2. lol, that one of Merriman is funny. Big ol guy running from a mouse. Nothing is more amusing.

Kinda hard to pick a good caption for Cutler.

Ref: "Double chin penalty... offense, #6... 10 yard penalty"

Cutler: "Who me?? What double chin? I don't see a double chin."

LOL, I don't know. I saw his double chin and it was the first thing that came to mind. Just glad he didn't go to the SB let alone win it. That's funny!

  4. Haha I thought that would be typical Sharpe haha.

As for the Cutler pic I am still having trouble with it. I think it is so funny as is I can't think of something. The pic is to self explanatory for a caption I am thinking.

Also as soon as I saw the Merriman pic that is what I thought of, I thought it was perfect haha.

  5. Yeah, the pic of Sharpe is definitely typical of him.

So I get it, didn't like my caption for the Cutler pick. lol JK! It is pretty much self explanatory. That's why I said myself its hard to come up with something for it but I still think my caption for it is pretty funny.

lol, leave it to Merriman to run from a mouse. I forget what team he got traded to??

I also need to see if you can any childhood info on Sharpe. I got his college & pro career covered but I don't have much on his childhood. Can't find anything beyond his birthdate & they grew up poor in Georgia. I'd like to at least have something about his high school although I get the feeling he didn't go... don't know for sure, can't find a thing about it. The article is ready except for that. Was hoping you could find something. :D

  6. **if you can FIND any childhood info on Sharpe.

  7. I'm sure Sharpe went to HS. Back then there was no such thing as home schooling. Maybe looking into Sterling more may help. IDK, maybe I can look later.
The Cutler pic caption, "Now who the hell screwed up. Wasn't me coach. I never do anything wrong."

  8. Trade Kyle Orton To Miami for pick #79

    #1 Nick Fairley- Carolina Panthers

#2 Patrick Peterson CB LSU-Best player available and we aren't able to trade down.

#36 Martez Wilson ILB Illinois-I've been searching for someone in the draft as a Sam LB.

#46 Marvin Austin DT North Carolina-It would be great for Paea, Taylor or Wilkerson to make it to this spot, but they don't.

#67 Jacquizz Rodgers RB Oregon State-I think a change of pace RB is a big need for us and not one that can be filled in FA(TE and OT can). Hunter and Todman are also options here if Quizz is gone.

#79 Robert Sands FS West Virginia-Popular pick. We could go Williams or Sash here otherwise.

Late 6th from NE Henry Hynoski FB Pittsburgh

Early 7th Mario Harvey ILB Marshall

  9. Digger I like the mock. But after reading a article on MHR, the one about planning for the future, taking into account future drafts. I found that ILB is heavy next year. So I would look for DL and Secondary help with a few LBs late.

So I am thinking, Peterson. Two DTS or one DT and DT. Something like Austin, Taylor, Paea or Wilkerson in the 2nd. I am a huge fan of Sands I think he would be great. I like Foster at LB as well. But we could target guys late like Herzlich and Matthews later as band aids and then target the Al Wilson type guy next year.

And Princess I will have a look and see what I can find.

  10. And Digger if you want to put your mock up with pictures as a post feel free to do so.

  11. Little info here, just need to remember what Sharpe they are talking about, most is on sterling but there is stuff thrown in there about Shannon.

  12. Here is a bit more.

  13. That is all I could find, I do know Shannon's mother was a nurse, watch his speech on nfl network after his selection. He talks about his mother and brother there a little. Stuff about how he wanted to be the best for his mum. He always wanted to be his brother be as good as him and that he was always that skinny kid. Stuff like that. Other than that I can't find anything.

    Here is a bit more.

Sharpe hails from Glennville, Ga., where he was all-county, all-region and all-area in football at Glennville High School. In addition to four letters in football, Sharpe lettered three times in basketball and four times in track, setting a Georgia state Class A record in the triple jump (48’-3”) as a junior, and breaking that mark as a senior (49’-5”). He won the regional triple jump title three straight years and the regional discus throwing title twice. Shannon was also a two-time all-area selection in basketball, scoring more than 1,000 points in three seasons, and averaging 30 points and 15 rebounds as a senior. He once scored 52 points in a game and once grabbed 27 rebounds in a game. His brother Sterling was an All-American at South Carolina who earned All-Pro status in five of his seven NFL seasons with the Green Bay Packers. Sterling is now a reporter for ESPN television, and a studio host for the network’s award-winning NFL Countdown and Monday Night Countdown programs. Shannon has several cousins who played college football, and he lists his hobbies as fishing, basketball, weight lifting, and his two Rottweilers, Kane and Killian. Shannon is single and makes his home in Glennville, Ga.

  14. Looks like Thomas injured his ankle, achilles tendon.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I know, that is like a six month recovery if he has torn it. He may make it back for the start of the season but he won't be 100%. But he should be back this year. This is just like the Doom and Clady injuries, sucks big time. I wish him well.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Clady didn't miss much time, but not fully recovered IMO. Good thing we still have all the WRs people were talking about trading. With BayBay and Royal out 6 months we need Gaff and Willis to stay.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yeah I know is a bummer, I still won't mind trading gaff and letting Decker and Willis have more of a round and bring in an undrafted or FA WR to fill that 4 spot that is cheaper than Gaff and hope Royal or Thomas are ready to go.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'm not a huge Gaffney supporter either. Trade him to Houston for Steve Slaton RB. Sorry I was looking at their roster and saw that they have Arion Foster and Derick Ward to sign, drafted Ben Tate last year and Slaton only has one year left.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Yeah would take that, but do Houston need WR? Slaton would be a perfect match for Moreno.

    ReplyDelete
  20. IDK I was actually looking at their roster contracts on Rotoworld for defensive guys.

    ReplyDelete
  21. They are going to a 3-4 so may be wanting to trade Mario Williams, I would take him any day.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Trade the 2# for Mario Williams and the 11# so they can get Peterson or ???

    ReplyDelete
  23. That's what I was looking for. There was a mock on fanshots
    http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/NFP-Mock-Draft-10.html
and they had Marcell Dareus going to Houston at #11. If it actually worked that way I'd like a trade that included Peterson and Dareus.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I know, instead of trade back for picks, trade back for players. If we got Williams and Dareus I would cream myself. They would boost our DL greatly, then with Bannan/Vickerson and Doom, throw in some Ayers we are sorted. Then can focus on LBs and Secondary help in the 2nd. But we will need a CBA for that.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Haha No wonder you and I can't ever work out a trade in FF. They aren't giving us Super Mario and Dareus for Peterson.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Haha I know, is a dream, but would be awesome but like you said never going to happen.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Peterson and Doom for Mario, Dareus and Slaton.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oh that would be interesting, since we are going 4-3, and they are going 3-4 it would be the perfect match.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Don't ya love it. I do. It's like win win for both teams. According to what I saw Mario's contract is up in 2012. We get to pay what we want, but stick them with huge Doom contract. Dareus is the guy I really want anyway. I would even be alright if we took him at #2.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yeah this would be a huge trade, if Mario makes some noise about being in the 3-4 I say go for it. Plus Houston needs secondary help so they would love Peterson.

Mario next to Dareus would be huge as well, plus throw in Slaton is nice. But is 2# and Doom the same value as 11# and Williams. I think it is. But we get the more complete player. Mario is a good rusher and run defend, where is Doom is terrible in the run game. I think we over paid for Doom and would be much happy paying Mario. I think this would be a great trade, make a note and send it to Elway he needs to know this!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Haha Digger you should make that up into a mock draft and post it up on MHR and see what sort of response you get.

    ReplyDelete
  32. IDK Sounds like alot of work explaining it all. Maybe Sun. when no football is on.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Haha done deal, I will be looking out for it.
