Fantasy Football Talk

Talk away guys, trades whatever, talk away. I will have a post up later about today's practice but for now talk here ~ Aussie Out!

    haha. Very funny. So i put this on the last post to Digger on the counter offer he made me.

    Digger: lol. No, i went thru alot to get Austin, i like him better than most WR's and better than Marshall. So unless u offer alot more for him i dont think ill give him up. And do u or do u not want Williams?? lol. So...hmmm....trying to think of another offer.

    okay. And now thinking about it, i dont really need a QB or want one in particualr, if its in the package then cool, but i can roll with Stafford and Flacco each week based on best matchups. If possible i would like to get Marshall from you.

    Forte was 4th rd. Mason was 8th. I could be convinced on that deal if you wantede Jacobs or Portis instead of Forte.

    That seems like a better offer 80. Williams is better than forte who will share carries with chester taylor, who also can catch the ball in the backfield a lot. And housh started clicking in the second half of the season. Mason is getting old, but now that boldin is the man, he won't have top backs covering him, so he could benefit. Just depends on if his age effects him. If he really wants williams, then this might be a fair bid.

    And Marshall is one mistake away from a lengthy suspension. He is closer to his hometown in Miami, which isn't a good thing. So he will have to be very careful.

    So Aussie,

    I was looking at fantasy football sights and found a cool idea. Since you are so good at making blog articles, I thought you might be interested in being the color commentator. This is what what you would be responsible for doing. Let me know what you think:

    Fun League Extras
    Every fantasy league has its own personality. Here are a few ideas for extras you can do as commissioner to make your league more fun.

    If you don't have the time for some of these, try finding a player in your league who loves to do stuff like this and ask them to do it.
    Weekly Recaps - After all the games have played, send out a brief recap of each match-up with some funny commentary.
    Post Draft Analysis - Review each player's draft performance and generate projected post-season standings. Highlight any great or horrible picks.
    End of Season Summary - Keep track of fun and unusual stats for your league other than the basic W/L record, then send them out after the championship. These stats can include things like trades proposed/rejected, most free agent pickups, most trash talk posts, most whiny posts, best/worst trade, biggest blowout, etc.
    Weekly Trophy - Get a goofy item that the team with the best record or most points each week can display with pride. This works well for work leagues where everyone can see it.
