Well Free Agent has started and our first pick up has been J.J Arrington. The former Cardinals running back who tried to join the Broncos last year but failed his physical, it seems he has gotten healthy and he will try to get a roster spot. He is a solid third down back, I wonder what this means for Hillis?
Now I will post some ideas for a Mock Draft using the information that I learned by doing the big board. The big board can be found here, Aussie's Big Board.
Idea 1: So here is idea one, if we stayed exactly where we are:
1st (11): Mike Iupati
2nd (45): Cam Thomas or Lamarr Houston Or Odrick
3rd (80): Sean Lee
4th round: Myron Rolle
6th round: John Skelton
7th round: Line depth so OL or DL, Mike Johnson or Erik Cook
Idea 2: If we trade back and pick up another 2nd, I am thinking to the 49ers at 17, and 49.
1st (17): Terrance Cody
2nd (45): Cam Thomas or Lamarr Houston Or Odrick
2nd (49): Demaryius Thomas or Jacoby Ford
3rd (80): Sean Lee
4th round: Myron Rolle
6th round: John Skelton
7th round: Line depth so OL or DL, Mike Johnson or Erik Cook
Idea 3: If we trade scheff, highly likely, and maybe move up back into the 5th round.
1st (17): Terrance Cody
2nd (45): Cam Thomas or Lamarr Houston Or Odrick
2nd (49): Demaryius Thomas or Jacoby Ford or Riley Cooper
2nd (??): Patrick Robinson if early pick or Corey Wotton if later
3rd (80): Sean Lee
4th round: Myron Rolle
5th round: Linval Joseph
6th round: John Skelton
7th round: Line depth so OL or DL, Mike Johnson or Erik Cook maybe
Idea 4: If we also trade Marshall for a 1st. Maybe Benegals or Ravens?
1st (17): Terrance Cody
1st (21-25): Maurkice Pouncey
2nd (45): Cam Thomas or Lamarr Houston Or Odrick
2nd (49): Demaryius Thomas or Jacoby Ford or Riley Cooper
2nd (??): Patrick Robinson if early pick or Corey Wotton if later
3rd (80): Sean Lee
4th round: Myron Rolle
5th round: Linval Joseph
6th round: John Skelton
7th round: Line depth so OL or DL, Mike Johnson or Erik Cook maybe
Ok that is it for my ideas in the draft, I just wanted to get this out before the hell of Free Agency starts. I am thinking of updating these mocks and the big board after Free Agency and before the draft starts. I will change my mock ideas depending on who we sign and modify the big board depending on the players pro days. Well that is it for me, lets hope the Broncos can do well in Free Agency ~ Aussie Out

ReplyDeleteHere is something for you to play around with. You input certain situations into the simulator and it shows you who everyone will pick. Pretty cool.

Well, just read on nfl.com that Seattle is gonna have a meeting with Marshall tomorrow. If they sign him to an offer sheet and we don't match it we get their No. 6 first round draft pick. At this point, if he's going to meet with Seattle I just hope he wants to stay in Denver and that we fight to keep him, not just let him go as if we don't care. We do care!!! Didn't take long to get the drama rolling did it? lol, what a funny business this is.
