Aussie, whazzup? We have a similar site that Doc and I was on (Bronco true Fans) and there was no spam filter on it. Same thing (site) as we have her.

ReplyDeleteHope you all are well and thanks for your contributions to the blogs. I know BroncoAussie shared with you my email about the blog comments and after reading some of the comments over the weekend I wanted to explain my email in a little more detail.
I think it has been pretty cool that you all have gotten to know each other on the blogs over the last few weeks, but several members have contacted me and feel like you all are taking over the boards and they don’t feel like they can comment. After reading everything that has been written I see their point. We went through and had to delete several comments over the weekend that were not relevant to the post, the Broncos or anything else for that matter. After spending a couple hours of going through the comments and how it had turned, I turned off the comment function on that post.
I am sending this email to you all asking that if you comment on the blogs, let’s make sure it is on subject about the post or something dealing with the Broncos or the NFL. If you want to discuss other things – BBQs, dating, prison, sex tapes or even conversations with yourself, please do so in our chat room -- http://web.denverbroncos.com/chat/final/index_login.php.
The last thing I want to do with this email is discourage you all from posting your comments on the blog. I am just trying to make sure that we use these blog comments for what they are designed to do and we don’t push out others who want to comment.
Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns and also please don’t post this email on the blogs. This is a conversation between the 8 of us.
Lastly, I know a lot of you have experienced problems with your posts showing up. This is due to our spam filter. What happens is, when you all comment multiple times in the same post within a short period of time, the blog thinks it is a spam bot hitting our site. Typically blogs aren’t used for chat rooms which is why some of you have experienced this more than others. We are doing our best to solve this, but I think the best answer is to move the off-subject conversations to the chat rooms.
I hope you all understand where I am coming from and thanks for your time.

ReplyDeleteYour Princess is pretty sad today. A guy my mom worked with committed suicide on Sunday. Still in shock, really surprised he did it. He was one of those loveable people, just makes me sick to my stomach. Beyond sad that he did it other than that I'm fine.
