  1. Something is going wrong... I could've sworn I posted a comment last night on the Madden 11 post but it never showed up. I wondered if possibly I typed something up and somehow just forgot to click on the "post comment" thing. But I know I clicked it and saw my comment show... then I came back later and it was gone, which made me think twice.

And now, off to to the right underneath the poll, it shows recent comments made on this blog. lol Looks stupid just sitting there. Kinda funny though. Another thing... when I first came on here today it said this "test" post had only 3 comments but when I clicked to read the comments, it shows 6 comments. Somethin' fishy is goin on!??

  2. Princess I had the same problem. I posted a comment about Jazzy's team and it's not there

  3. Hey guys, just letting you know I think this is still playing up, but is a Blogger problem, so we have to wait till Google says it is all fixed.

And Princess you don't like my recent comments thing? I added it last night.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Oh and The Broncos waived reserve wide receivers Dicky Lyons and Landis Williams today.

    ReplyDelete
  5. lol, I didn't know you added the recent comments thing... I don't know why, for some reason it looks silly to me. But if you want to keep it there, its not that big of a deal.

  6. Though it may be bad news for the 2 guys who got waived today... we have some good news to hold onto. According to nfl.com, Decker is said to be on schedule for being able to participate come training camp. And instead of me repeating the whole article, here it is.

  7. Yeah saw that Princess, hope decker is there for training camp. I also think because we released these guys we are close to signing some rookies.

And it is ok if you don't like it, I will just get rid of it. I thought it was a bit weird looking but trying to do something different.

  8. lol, whatever you say captain.

    ReplyDelete
  9. And I think there will be a few more cuts/waives or whatever this month and then when we get closer to TC, we'll get quite a few rookies signed but more importantly Doom. I've gotten my mind of it but dang its driving me crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yeah I think he will be signed at the start or in the first week of TC.

And Can't wait to have the rookies signed.

  11. Final Predictions for where LeBron signs? I say he goes to Chicago

    ReplyDelete
  12. The comments problem is all fixed, google fixed it.

And Doc I say Cleveland, stay and play at home.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I say Miami. Who wouldnt he want to be on a team with Wade and Bosh. Three superstars! Unstoppable. Makes sense to me, but im probly wrong. If not Miami then Knicks, but my pick is Heat.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Man. Just realized im goin to miss Lebrons "decision" tonight. I have a 7 on 7 game against reigning NM 5A champs last year tonight. You guys know what that is? 7 on 7? I dont know if thats just in NM or what, but yeah i have a football game. Pretty pumped for it!

    ReplyDelete
  15. No way LeBron goes to the Knicks. He wants to win. I think the best team for him to win on is the Bulls. If Miami signs Lebron then they won't have any depth behind Wade, Bosh, Lebron, and Beasley. Chicago has a deeper team then the Heat.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Ya i think were right actually about him not goin to Knicks. VERY unlikely, just was thinkin they would offer him more $ in NY, but thinking about it hes mostly interested in winning. But i am still sticking to my guns. Lebron to Miami Heat. Just the fact that he wants to play with Wade and Bosh and i think he'll have the most success there. They'll be serious contenders. But we will see hear in about 5 hours i think.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I don't know squat anymore about the NBA, but I will say the heat just to have my vote out there.

And also, The_Ink has officially signed up in the keeper league, meaning we have 11 of the 12 teams returning from last year, and the registration period is complete. You guys can choose your keepers anytime between now and 3 days prior to the draft.

    Play on!!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. The Heat are Dwayne Wade's team. I don't think LeBron wants to be the second guy. The Heat would have an elite starting line up but no bench. If Lebron did go to Heat I don't think they'd go far in the playoffs.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I called it!! Lebron to Heat! haha, c'mon give me props. lol. Well Doc i dont think it will be just one persons team. Its all of them that make the team. I dont think the NBA has seen this before. All i know is bench or not Heats are serious contenders and i know its REALLY early, but i put Heat in Finals. How can u not agree that they'll be really good. They have Dwayne Wade and Lebron James on the same team!!!!!! And to top it off they have Bosh to. Were talking about 2 top 3 players in the league in Wade and Lebron and another elite player in Bosh. Top 3 players are Kobe, Lebron, and D-Wade. 2 on the same team is unstoppable.

    ReplyDelete
  20. And a man!!! No Princess in our FF league! lol. Well looks like u didnt have the best luck Princess. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  21. Remember the Dallas Cowboys a few years ago? A bunch of hot-headed superstars that couldn't win in the playoffs. LeBron turned his back on the city of Cleveland. But oh well, at least they still have the Browns and Indians...

    ReplyDelete
  22. hahaha, looks like I just got lucky #80!!! Too funny... almost starting to like this guy, The_Ink... apparently I gave him "chest pains" when Coop posted my pic on DB for the first time (last year), then he asked me out several times (to football games of course) and now he saved me from having to play FF and he doesn't even know it. LOL That really is too funny. :p

But I will give you props 80 for calling the team Lebron would choose. You do know your stuff about basketball. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Doc: You cant compare basketball to football as they are 2 different sports and played 2 different ways. And i wouldnt say Lebron turned his back on Cleveland, it was his choice to go to a different team. Cavs wouldnt be in the situation if they had extended his contract a couple years ago. If u wanna keep a controversial best player in the league u gotta pay him the dough. And at least they still do have the Browns and Indians cause Cavs should do horrible this year.

And Princess to funny. That Ink guy sure has helped u alot, and he doesnt even know it. lol. And thank u for giving me props Princess. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Cleveland was going to pay him $30 million more then Miami so it wasn't about the money. And in the NBA it still takes 12 players to win, not 3. Based on who Miami signs to fill the other 7 roster spots on their team the Celtics are the team of the East.

Don't be surprised if the Cavaliers trade for Chris Paul in these next few days. Byron Scoot coached him in New Orleans and if you read Dan Gilberts letter he sounds like he is going to do whatever it takes to give the city of Cleveland a championship.

Here's a link of the letter. It's very entertaining to say the least.

    ReplyDelete
  25. And now finally, John Elway is no longer the most hated man in Cleveland.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Now the Heat just signed Mike Miller to a 5 year $30 million deal. Where do they get all this money!?!?!?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Isn't Miami a drug bed?

    Connection maybe?

    ReplyDelete
  28. haha. Very true Doc. Elway is no longer the most hated there. lol.

And Lebron had his choice to go where ever he wanted, its not like he was obligated to stay in Cleveland. Thats what happens when your contract ends, u get to choose wherever u want to play, just how it is. And in the NBA it takes a few great key players and then the rest of the players can rally around them and come together to be good. The team u used is a perfect example. The Celtics, they have there great key players in Pierce, Allen, Rondo, and Garnett and then the rest of the players rallied around those guys. Thats why there so good, the few key players u have make the biggest part or impact of game and dictate how the bench plays. In this case Wade, Lebron, Bosh, and Miller with the rest of the players rallying around those guys. Now im not writing off the Celtics as they are still a good team, but i think they got worse from last year losing there big men so right now im taking the Heat. And think about it. Lebron got deep into the playoffs the past years literally all by himself. He now has other talent on the team that will put them over the top. Dwayne Wade and Lebron!! Just thats unstoppable!! I have to say im excited for them.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I have no clue who Mike Miller is that the Miami Heat just signed which Doc mentioned but its just weird seeing that name... was my dad's name. I read that at first and it kinda freaked me out seeing my dad's name on here. lol

Anyhoo.... lol, yeah The_Ink really did help me out, more like saved me. haha If you get the chance, tell him 07elway says thank you!! LOL He doesn't know who I am under the handle Princess.

Hey Aussie - just for kicks I think we should put a countdown to the start of TC on here in place of the Pro Bowl score up there. We have 23 days left til August 1. I'm tired of looking at the Pro Bowl score, even though the AFC won. lol Just a thought. I guess I'm just ready for it all to begin... in dire need of football over here. lol

    ReplyDelete
  30. Woah. Just read that letter u posted Doc about the letter to the fans. He rips Lebron soooo bad. Its hilarious kinda. Just one of the things he said was "I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING’ WINS ONE". hahaha. I dont know about that, but they seem pretty pissed at Lebron.

    ReplyDelete
  31. It's a sign. They're going to trade for a big-name guy like Chris Paul

Princess, that's pretty weird. here's a little bio on him.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Miller_(basketball)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Is a sign Doc. I think they'll get somebody.

And I can not wait for football season either Princess. So close, but yet so farr. lol. Im just really excited!

And just read Heat are about to sign Udonis Haslem. They really are going all out. I also just saw Derek Fisher is meeting with them. If they get him i dont know what ill think. All i know is there going to be great this year!

    ReplyDelete
  33. lol, I looked at the bio of that guy... interesting guy, funny story about the monkey he had. Was just weird at first seeing my dad's name.

I'm with ya 80... 23 days seems like forever. I'm running out of patience fast. lol

  34. Man some people are stupid. On nfl.com they top 5 safetys and guess what? Not a word about Dawkins!! They say Sharper, Arian Wilson, Andre Rolle, and Nick Collins are in the top 6 and then Reed and Palamalu the top 2. I think Dawkins should at least be at #3. That got me kinda mad.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Now that is disrespect, but Dawkins is on the Broncos homepage now haha.

But I do agree, is top 5 talent.

    ReplyDelete
  36. nfl.com made 80 mad... now I'm mad. lol That is a crime... I should arrest whoever left out Dawkins. What does a Bronco player have to do to get some respect?? I bet you anything they left out Dawkins just cuz he's a Bronco now. That's how these goobers think... anyone who becomes a Bronco isn't worth mentioning, at all. Just goes to show they are stupid.

I love that Dawkins is on the new DB homepage though, I was really surprised. Didn't expect them to change the homepage but I like it. It will take some time to get used to it and find everything again but it looks awesome. I said this on the blogs but I love the Rockies in the background... pure definition of CO.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Wow. Just went to DB.com and have to say that new look looks pretty sick. I love it. Everything looks really good on there. Hadnt been or blogged there forever.

    ReplyDelete
  38. WTF!!!!!!!!!???? Now im really pissed!!!! They had top 5 corners on nfl.com today. NO CHAMP BAILEY!!!!!!! Talking about disrespect! He should be #1 on the list! That is complete BS. Rod Woodson is now officially on my hit list right next to Dukes. lol. No really he is right down there with Dukes being complete dumba$$'s and not giving ANYTHING to the Broncos. This makes me sick! Glad at least Soloman Wilicots has some senses for the most part. Check it out:

  39. At least Michael Lombardi on nfl.com believes in the Broncos and is gving them some credit. He has us as playoff contenders next year. One of the things he says is "The Broncos remind me of Butler University in the NCAA tournament, a dangerous team that understands the real meaning of "team" gaining confidence with every win." Although i think he is off on some of the other teams he is ranking like putting the Dolphins and Chargers as Superbowl contenders its the most Ive seen anybody give respect to the Broncos of these so called "experts".

  40. Michael Lombardi is good and his articles are very interesting.

But 80# reading the link you posted it said best in the biz CB, meaning blitzing CBs. Which I don't think Champ is, he is a cover corner. He blitzed like once last year. So understandable that he doesn't make that list, but he is top 5 in CBs for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Aussie. I dont think so. Never heard of "best in biz" meaning blitzing corners. Watch the video and u will see.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Watched it 80# and agree, woodson idiot.
