For those interested, over at DenverBroncos.com they are running a live stream of the Broncos draft room. It will be interesting watching, click here for the live stream.

Also the competition will be closed soon. Looks like it will be between myself, Digger and Jazzy. Because of this there will be a new Broncos Blog Draft Guru crowned by the end of the draft. ~ Aussie.

  1. Too many Von miller projections, dang it! Give me dareus! I should be here at 6 gouldy

    ReplyDelete
  2. I really dislike Von miller. Reason why, he isn't dareus. If we do pick him I hope we can get paea and Rudolph in rd 2

    ReplyDelete
  3. Jazzy I am pumped and yes there are a lot of Miller predictions, but give me Peterson or Watts! haha Not long now a few more hours.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Read the two new Roto articles -->

    Happy days :)

    ReplyDelete
  5. Looks like it is party time, the live stream is up too.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Not long now...what if the Panthers take Dareus?

    ReplyDelete
  7. then we take miller i am sure, but i would rather take peterson or trade down and take fairly

    ReplyDelete
  8. Well we will be on the clock soon, so we will know then, not long now....

    ReplyDelete
  9. Cam Newton to Panthers, best kept secret not. We are up!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Bowlen rocking the short shorts haha. Looks like we are waiting for trade down.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Miller it is not surprised but no Dareus, big call.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Very surprised we went with Miller. And to add to our drama, we just drafted a guy who is suing the NFL for anti-trust issues. Yip-ee.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Looking like Dareus might go to Buffalo.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Haha, plus he said he wanted to play for the Cowboys haha.

Dareus to Bills. So far going as planned, no surprises yet.

    ReplyDelete
  15. AJ Green! now that is a surprise.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Now, now Jazzy gotta give the guy a chance when/if the time comes. Let's just hope we didn't get screwed over, again.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yeah we picked a 3-4 LB for a 4-3, I hope he works out.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Geez, so not only we got someone who is currently suing the NFL and who wanted to be a Cowboy... we have a funny way of doing things.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Pretty much haha.

Peterson to the Cards, they will be very happy with that pick.

    ReplyDelete
  20. They must have a plan since they did it that way. Obviously they are thinking something we aren't.

Peterson to Arizona... should we fear the red birds now??

    ReplyDelete
  21. Feeling Fairley to the Browns.

    ReplyDelete
  22. They may be happy with Peterson, rightfully so, but I have a friend who wanted us to pick him and he won't be so happy.

    ReplyDelete
  23. The rest of their secondary is crap so we will be fine. I like Miller, if he works out. Miller has the most potential.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'll put my trust in the new coach & team that Miller will be able to make a difference on defense.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Julio Jones just struck a deal of gold

    ReplyDelete
  26. Monster trade, 6 picks for one, and get Jones WR! massive.

    ReplyDelete
  27. More like ridiculous. Wait till he gets a contract... off the charts insane!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. And I have the competition post up... looks like you Aussie have 4 right so far. Newton, Dareus, Green & Peterson

    ReplyDelete
  29. Smith wow, that is high for him, big call.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Smith as a 3-4 LB, I doubt he can do it.

    ReplyDelete
  31. HOLY SHIT!!!!! Locker to the Titans!!! HUGE Surprise!!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. LOL, I had to go get something to eat, what did I miss??

    ReplyDelete
  33. The biggest surprise in the draft Princess haha. Should have heard the surprise. Screws up the rest of the draft now. A lot of teams will trade at the end of the first to get QBs now.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I am MAD! Locker, huge suprize

    ReplyDelete
  35. lol, so I take it you didn't think Locker would get picked so early or by the Titans? Urf, I knew I shouldn't have left the room!!!!!!! ahhhh

    ReplyDelete
  36. Aww, frizzy frizzle, buck up now. ahaha

    ReplyDelete
  37. Haha Jazzy wanted some Dareus, oh well.

Locker may not have gone in the first round. Not top 10, was a huge reach. Big surprise Princess.

    ReplyDelete
  38. So which Smith went to the 49ers?? Aldon or Jimmy???

ahaha, just as I wrote that they said Dallas took Tyron Smith.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Gotcha, told you I know nothing about college players. Gotta keep me up to speed sometimes. lol

    ReplyDelete
  40. And this is why I don't do that competition thing, I would've been WAY off and it would've bugged me to no end. I'm a perfectionist and getting one wrong would've drive me absolutely crazy. lol

    ReplyDelete
  41. ok will do, now what will shanny do?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Von will have to win me over

    ReplyDelete
  43. Do we trade back in to the first to get fairly if he drops past 15?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Maybe Jazzy I think we thinking about it.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Jags are up next... when does Washington take their pick??

    ReplyDelete
  46. I think we should try to trade up to get Fairley if he's still out there. He would be a great pick.

    ReplyDelete
  47. lol, sounds like Von is in the Frizzle dog house! ahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  48. Sheesh, Jags take Gabbert. My head is swimming

    ReplyDelete
  49. Guess at the Jaguars 16. I think Gabbert is going to the Jaguars.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Yeah so many different things going on. Miller will be good I hope. If Fairley gets to 20. I say we trade back in for him.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Got lost in translation... when does Washington pick??

    ReplyDelete
  52. Nevermind... at the Jags 16 like you said.

    ReplyDelete
  53. 16 now, they also picked up another 2nd.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Told you my head is swimming. I read that like 4 times before I finally figured out what you meant by the Jags 16. This draft has me all excited for a season that's on the edge

    ReplyDelete
  55. ahahaha, Texans took your boy JJ Watt. Don't know why but that got me laughing.

    ReplyDelete
  56. JJ Watt to the Texans, solid pick, was one of my favourite guys.

    ReplyDelete
  57. He will be good mark my words.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Fairley or Jordon to the Vikings.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Take Jordon!!! I want Fairley!! lol

    ReplyDelete
  60. Christain Ponder to the Vikings???????????????? WHAAAAAAAT

    ReplyDelete
  61. This draft is quarterback happy. Sheesh!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Ponder!!! That is another huge surprise, wow, I am feeling Mallet to the Dolphins now.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Yeah he should have gone way later if not the second round. I guess they wanted their QB. I doubt Orton goes there now.

CB Prince to Lions I think.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Even I know that Ponder in the 1st round is a surprise. Ok, so maybe I do know a few things about college players. HA

    ReplyDelete
  65. CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP... Fairley to Detroit!!!! Dang Lions!!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Lions always go BPA, thought they may go Fairley. Their DL is scare now. Well I guess we won't get him haha.

    ReplyDelete
  67. So what do you think we'll do now? Wait till 2nd round for our next up or try & trade up for someone else?

    ReplyDelete
  68. Probably sit tight to the second now. Unless there is a guy in the 25-30 range that we really want. But I don't think so at this time.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Robert Quinn? The Rams love tacking DEs in the first round haha. But solid pick.

    ReplyDelete
  70. What about Da'Quan Bowers? Think he's worth the trade up?? Just curious.

Washington is up after Miami. What will Shanny do.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Mike Pouncey to Miami... hmmmmmm....

    ReplyDelete
  72. Aight, what cha gonna do Shanny!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Bowers late in the first could be a good pick, good catch, possibily.

I think Shanny wanted Ponder or Mallet. He will either go Jordon or Mallet I think.

And the Dolphins took Pouncey, solid pick

    ReplyDelete
  74. I think the Patriots may trade with the Eagles for Prince who is yet to be taken. Knowing Shanny he will pick Bowers haha.

    ReplyDelete
  75. lol, was thinking the same about Shanny. Gonna take who I have on mind, which is Bowers

    ReplyDelete
  76. Ryan Kerrigan OLB, solid pick, not like Shanny to make that type of pick.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Technically you & Digger got Kerrigan right at 16. but since the Jags made that trade Washington took him at that spot.

    ReplyDelete
  78. So Shanny wasn't reading my mind. lol

    ReplyDelete
  79. Haha yeah, that was the spot we thought he would go, wrong team though haha, oh well, feeling trade here.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Watch the chargerettes or chiefs take Bowers... typical rivals... just wait for it

    ReplyDelete
  81. Nate Solder to the Patriots? Solid pick with lots of upside. Who to the Chargers? Jordon? Ayers? not sure who.

    ReplyDelete
  82. tellin' you a rival is gonna take my next idea for the Broncos... Bowers. Can just feel it.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Wow, first time this blog will have 100 comments on a post in a LONG time. 2 more to go after this.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Haha too funny, nice princess. As for Liuget to the Chargers?? A terrible pick. a 4-3 DT in a 3-4. I feel sorry for him haha.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Well how is that any different than Miller for us. Someone who's played in a 3-4 coming into a 4-3 set-up D. Is Miller more likely to transition better into a different scheme?

    ReplyDelete
  86. Amukamara to NY Giants... good pick there

    ReplyDelete
  87. Gonna be gone for just a bit. Will have to fill me in. This is gonna bug me. lol

    ReplyDelete
  88. Wow Prince to the Giants? That is a real good pick for them. They need good corners and Prince is one of the best.

    Tampa Bay probably picks Bowers.

The difference with Miller is he has the tools to succed in a 4-3, speed and size etc. Liuget doesn't have any of that. He is undersized in every way for a 3-4, that is why I am sorry for him.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Gotcha. will be back after a bit. Be ready to fill me in. :D

    ReplyDelete
  90. Wow, they picked Clayborn over Bowers? they must have really liked him, solid I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Another trade!! The Browns move up who are they going to pick??

    ReplyDelete
  92. Phil Taylor to the Browns interesting??

    ReplyDelete
  93. Anthony Castonzo to Colts. Good pick there and expected.

Yeah was thinking the same thing to Jazzy.

Jimmy Smith I think to Eagles.

    ReplyDelete
  94. If Bowers gets past the Saints I think we could be in play for him.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Maybe, we don't need him though, we need a dt

    ReplyDelete
  96. Wow that was unexpected? Danny Watkins??

    ReplyDelete
  97. Maybe Jazzy, could trade up for a DT. But there is still a number on the board. I think we sit tight.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Alright I'm back. Who took who???

    ReplyDelete
  99. I see the Chiefs traded down. Who did they trade with?

    ReplyDelete
  100. Read the last few comments, didn't miss much, the chiefs traded. Jordon to the saints is good. means Bowers keeps falling.

    Browns.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Yeah I read the comments.

So since we need a DT, who should we trade up for if we were to do so. Paea, Heyward, Wilkerson?

    ReplyDelete
  102. Bowers is up top of DL's/DT's left to be picked. Surprised he's still out there. I think he'd be worth the trade up.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Seahawks take tackle Carpenter?? Who?? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  104. Yeah Carpenter is a 2nd round if not later guy, huge reach I think. Will may not need to trade up, this guys could fall to us. Bowers is the top talent but his injury has scared people.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Ravens have to go Jimmy Smith.

    ReplyDelete
  106. I still think Bowers will get picked up before the 2nd round, despite an injury I know nothing about. lol I can see the Chiefs taking him, unless we move up to get him. Just heard on the TV it was a knee injury so I can see why people are skeptical of taking him but I just can't see him slipping into the 2nd round.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Something fishy going on with the draft... both Ravens & Chiefs have clocked out of time

    ReplyDelete
  108. That was weird. Jonathan Baldwin for KC. Again, WHO???

    ReplyDelete
  109. Haha Baldwin is good solid pick. The ravens screwed up I think, their pick slide down. Who knows we will find out soon what happened. Not sure if there was a trade or not, this is interesting.

As for Bowers, yeah he had the serious knee injury so who knows how good he can be. Not sure what is happening now.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Aussie got it right... Jimmy Smith to Baltimore

    ReplyDelete
  111. Haha me smartie haha. Saints traded back in with Patriots.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Not sure what happened either. The fruitcakes on the show don't either. lol Looks like the Ravens clocked out of time and the 26th pick went to KC then Ravens got to take the 27th. If my head wasn't swimming before, it is now!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  113. Saints take Mark Ingram. But gave up next years first rounder next year??

    ReplyDelete
  114. Haha yeah sounds like that is what happened.

    ReplyDelete
  115. LOL, smarty pants. Well then if Bowers does get picked before 2nd round we'll call it even. haha

    ReplyDelete
  116. Could the Bears pick Bowers?

    ReplyDelete
  117. Possible. Even if he does slip into the 2nd, our next pick isn't till 36 unless we trade up... someone's gotta take him.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Maybe, I still think we sit tight, Bowers may keep slipping, who knows could fall far in the 2nd.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Carimi to the Bears. For the 3rd time, who?? lol

    ReplyDelete
  120. Gabe Carmi is a solid pick for the Bears. They needed help on the line.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Alright, if not Bowers then I say one of the 3 remaining teams takes Ayers or Heyward... if that happens then we can call it even.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Lookin' like Wilkerson will be a Jet

    ReplyDelete
  123. All three could go in the next few picks.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Wilkerson to Jets good pick, that is what we thought would happen.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Down to Pittsburgh & Packers... one of 'em takes Ayers or Heyward. C'mon make me smart!! lol

    ReplyDelete
  126. Heyward to the Steelers!! haha, got one! naner naner

    ReplyDelete
  127. Nice, Heyward to Steelers good pick. Ayers could go to the Packers.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Weirdest first round of a draft I've ever seen, yet eventful enough to be exciting. Now let's hope we can have a season. Heard we could have an answer by Monday.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Sherrod solid pick, that ends an interesting day of draft prospects. Happy with Miller, but he is going to have to put in work this year.

Will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow. I will talk to you guys and gal tomorrow I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Yeah could be FA on Monday which would be sick.

    ReplyDelete
  131. hey, fricken miller???? c'mon. So lots of good picks still there for tomorrow

    ReplyDelete
  132. oh yeah lots of good palyers still to go.

    ReplyDelete
  133. who are you picking with the current talent available?

    ReplyDelete
  134. We have to pick a DT in round 2, plus either a running back or corner I think. Maybe a safety? I am not sure. All I can say for sure is more defense!

    ReplyDelete
  135. Does look good for you guys in the comp. I managed to pull off 6 correct answers, Jazzy and Digger are both sitting on 3. So I have to get none right the next few days and you get all yours right. Good luck, I think I have a good lead now haha.
