Whats the list Doc, list of current position?
ReplyDeleteMy quick analysis:
ReplyDeleteThomas is awesome, should get him on more.
Orton was ok but needs to complete passes.
Tebow needs to throw a pass, but did you see his guns?
Defense was solid, the front 4 had a good game, are we going back to 4-3?
Jason Hunter played well, as did DJ Williams.
Loved the turnovers, Squid is awesome.
Run game is improving.
Did anyone see Orton step a LB?
I believe if there wasn't a bad snap at the end Orton would have thrown a TD. But that is football, 'poo' happens haha.
LOL, yes I good look at Tebow's guns. Pretty much all I saw when he ran in for a TD. And now you'll never guess who's picture is on my desktop. Don't bother guessing... you'll never get it. ;) ha
ReplyDeleteAgain, I didn't get to see the game so I can't say a whole lot. We've all seen Orton have better games. The Jets pass defense really held it together. Bummer too, cause I really wanted to see Orton get 5 consecutive 300-yard games. Oh well, he'll start it over when we play Oakland. Can't wait to cream those guys. If there's any game that should really pump the Broncos up, it's this next game. Our most hated division rival, these teams absolutely hate each others guts and it will be at home in Denver. Doesn't get any grittier than this.
Run game is slowly improving. Having Moreno back makes a BIG difference. But I will say it won't be surprising if coach puts Tebow in for some more plays like that. But like you said, I'd like to see him throw a pass or two, especially in this next game.
Thomas is one of our best rookie picks we've had in a LOOOOOOOOOONG time. Squid FINALLY got to see some play time... took half our defense to get injured just to see him in a regular season game. We'll see more of him on Sunday. Our defense really stuck together. Most people probably thought our defense would get run over... we had it till the very end.
Overall, this was our best game since beating Tennessee. Still plenty of room for improvements and we'll see more of it on Sunday. Oakland is in for a rude awakening.
Hey Lady & Gentleman. The Jets game was exhilirating and frustrating at the same time.
ReplyDeleteExcluding the fumble, it was good to see someone that could make ground yardage other than Orton.
I would put Orton's accuracy down to great presure from the Jets D. But I think we did well considering the pressure.
Thomas is an animal!
Tebows run calls is exactly what we want for now. If everyone thinks he he does is run, then it opens it up for a pass. At the moment the NFl hasn't seen enough of him to create a plan, which is good for us. I was Hillis' cannons and man TT ain't got nothing on him! lol
Yeah I thought the Jets D played well, Lloyd was covered mostly all day. I think Revis was on him most of the game.
ReplyDeleteThomas is a beast, need to find a way to use him more.
And the combo of Tebow and Hillis would have been some great muscle haha.
Also think I will post up something about this helmet to helmet thing and have a bit of discussion about it, as it is the big story right now.
